Shuyu Wang is a New York-based multimedia designer with roots in advertising and an evolving interest in gamification, creative coding, and the intersections of design and politics. She holds an MFA in Communication Design from Pratt Institute and has spent the past 4-5 years exploring diverse freelance projects that challenge conventional narratives.

While inspired by the power of communication, Shuyu is equally intrigued by its limitations and the biases embedded within design. Her work reflects a curiosity about how design can both connect and critique, inviting viewers to question the meaning and purpose of communication itself.
